Excellent condition featuring left-handed double cutaway contoured body with sunburst finish, three Fender Player Series single coil pickups with white covers, one volume control and two tone controls with white skirted knobs, five way pickup selector switch with white plastic tip, multi-ply white beveled edge pickguard, pointed oval shaped output jack plate mounted to the front treble side of the body, two point tremolo bridge with six individual adjustable bent steel saddles, bolt on maple neck with walnut skunk stripe, medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays starting at the third fret, one string tree, Stratocaster peghead shape with Fender spaghetti logo and Stratocaster logo, six in a line sealed Fender stamped tuning machines, serial number and Made in Mexico on the back of the headstock, four bolt neck fastening plate with F stamp, white tremolo cavity cover plate, and two metal strap buttons. This guitar weighs 8lb.
This 2018 Fender Player Stratocaster is in excellent cosmetic condition and is set up in great playing order. This guitar has some very faint pick scratches on the pickguard, a scratch on the side of the headstock, and a few very small dings/scratches on the body edges (see photos). Otherwise this Strat shows few signs of play wear and is exceptionally clean. This Stratocaster features a nice feeling Fender Modern C neck profile that is medium sized with a rounded back. This neck is extremely comfortable to play. The medium jumbo frets on this instrument show no signs of play wear and look new. This instrument has been set up and it plays fantastic up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation.
The Player Series Fender single coil pickups sound excellent and deliver a crystal clear articulate tone that shines through a clean amp and also excels with overdriven sounds. This guitar nails those “in between quack” tones when placed into the 2nd and 4th positions. This is a very good sounding Stratocaster! If you're after a great playing and sounding left-handed Strat, this Player Series example might just hit the spot.
