This 2017 Epiphone Sheraton is in overall excellent cosmetic condition showing almost no signs of play wear throughout (see photos). The neck profile on this instrument is that of a wide and flat carve with a 1 11/16" nut width and feels great in hand. The fret wire shows hardly any signs of use and will provide its new owner with many years of service. This Epiphone plays out standing up and down the fingerboard. The original Epiphone Probucker humbucking pickups sound truly great and have a very nice woody quality that I honestly wasn’t expecting. Epiphone has done a great job with these, in my opinion. The bridge position pickup is clear and articulate with plenty of bite and character while the neck position pickup delivers a much rounder and thicker tone that still retains its clarity through the low end. Both of these pickups can be “tapped” by using the push/pull volume potentiometers which is very useful for getting some really good quality single coil sounds as well. Overall, the tone of this guitar is very impressive and versatile. This guitar is very well suited for clean or dirty sounds. I truly believe that these Sheraton models offer more bang for your buck than almost any other semi-hollow body guitar on the market. Just a very well made, great sounding instrument with stylish appointments that’s also Mr. Hooker approved. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
