This is a virtually unplayed Heavy Relic limited edition Telecaster with an attractive blonde finish and early 50s and modified specs. The neck of this Tele features a chunky offset V profile. The guitar plays amazingly well and has low buttery action. The fingerboard and fret work feel immaculate and every note sings up and down the fingerboard. The reliced neck finish also gives this Tele a lived in extremely comfortable and vibe-y feel which paired with the offset V neck shape is just a pure pleasure to play. This guitar is extremely resonant unplugged and vibrates against the body when strummed. The pickups are also exceptional. The bridge pickup delivers all the classic biting Telecaster sounds that you can drum up and the wide range humbucking neck pickup offers a fat smooth tone. The pair of pickups are very well balanced and sound great in combination with one another. The simple Telecaster electronics layout make it easy to dial up incredible Fender sounds and the B5 Bigsby tailpiece pushes this guitar to a Swiss Army Knife of a machine allowing you to further explore tonal realms and just looks plain cool to boot. The choice of bridge is extremely interesting, useful and looks awesome. The blonde finish is extremely well done and attractive and the relicing is tasteful and well thought out. The single ply aged black guard ties everything together on the guitar just making it an absolutely stunning piece.
Although heavily reliced, this guitar has barely been played. The build start date was in 2020 and the finish date is 2021 as stated on its original COA and build sheet which are included. Hats off to the Fender company for knocking this one out of the park. The street price was originally $4800-4900 so this one is a bargain at $4499. Grab it while you can.
