Excellent condition featuring offset alder body with Miami Blue finish, multi-ply aged white pickguard, two V-Mod II single coil Jazzmaster pickups with aged white covers, three position pickup selector switch, Jazzmaster electronics with master volume control and master tone control with aged white witch hat knobs, lead circuit controls (slide switch down), rhythm circuit controls (slide switch up), thumbwheel volume and tone controls for series rhythm mode, and push/push on tone control to tap bridge pickup for vintage tone, Panorama tremolo tailpiece, Jazzmaster bridge with Mustang-style single slotted barrel saddles, deep C shaped maple neck with walnut skunkstripe and “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish, maple fingerboard with black dot inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, mid-sized maple peghead with Fender and Jazzmaster logos, single string tree, six in a line tuning machines, serial number on the back of the headstock, contoured heel, four bolt curved neck fastening plate with Fender American Professional II engraving, two metal strap buttons, and original hard shell case. This guitar weighs 8lb 5oz.
This 2020 Fender Professional Series Jazzmaster is in excellent cosmetic condition showing little to no playing wear throughout and only one small finish chip on the back of the body (see photos). It still has the plastic film on the pickguard. The neck profile feels great in hand and is very comfortable to play. The frets show no signs of use and have a lifetime of use left in them. The pickups really sound terrific and ring like a bell in all positions. They sound good clean or dirty and really shine through a Fender amp drenched in reverb. The tremolo works great and operated very smoothly (the trem arm is included). The bridge is excellent and has “Mustang” style saddles that seem to work better than the slotted barrel saddles found on Jazzmasters of the past. The Miami Blue finish looks amazing especially paired with the maple fingerboard. This is a tremendous guitar and a truly great offering from Fender.
