This 2014 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Reissue is in immaculate cosmetic condition showing no signs of play wear. This guitar has been professionally set up and plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. The neck profile is reminiscent of the late 1950s with an exceptionally chunky feel and feels great in hand. The frets show no signs of use and have a lifetime of playing left in them. The Custombucker pickups sound exceptional and are, in my opinion, some of the best sounding humbucking pickups that Gibson has created in years. The bridge pickup has a very distinct clear biting tone that sounds great with a clean or overdriven amp and the neck pickup has a very round woody growl.

In 2014, Gibson really built these models consistently well. This Les Paul has a gloss finish and un-aged hardware that gives this guitar the look and vibe of what a '59 Les Paul would have been like when it was brand new! The maple top is extremely nice and looks fantastic with a lot of motion in different light angles (see photos). If you’re looking for a superb Les Paul in near mint condition, this one is a winner.
