Excellent condition featuring single cutaway mahogany body, maple top with bound top edges, two P-90 pickups, two volume controls and two tone controls with steel pointers and gold speed knobs, three-way pickup selector switch with aged plastic cream colored Rhythm and Treble selector ring and aged tip, wraparound stud tailpiece, elevated cream colored plastic pickguard with aged metal bracket, mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, Gibson open book peghead, black peghead facewjtb Gibson pearl logo and Les Paul model gold silkscreened logo, single ply black plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney bean buttons, ink stamped serial number on the back of the peghead, single ply brown plastic electronics cavity control plate, single ply brown plastic switch cavity cover plate with embossed Gibson Custom logo plate, two metal strap buttons and brown Gibson Lifton style hard shell case. This guitar weighs 8lb 13oz.
This 2012 Les Paul is in excellent cosmetic condition showing only minimal signs of play wear throughout. The frets show very little signs of use and have tons of life left in them. This guitar has been professionally set up and plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. This instrument has had a series of tasteful upgrades that have enhanced both its appeal and playability. The pickups are Brandonwound P-90s that sound rich, articulate and have plenty of punch. The tuning machines are Grover Rotomatic “milk bottles” that look awesome on this instrument and also keep its tuning stability rock solid. The potentiometers and switch have been upgraded to a RS Guitarworks vintage style harness. The capacitors are Luxe Red Tigers and the wraparound stud tailpiece is a MojoAxe compensated unit. The plastic parts on this Les Paul have been upgraded as well and look great. The original tailpiece and tuning machines are included.
This guitar is super solid and is ready to handle anything that’s thrown at it from live performance to studio to home use. This Lester is housed in a Gibson Lifton style brown hard shell case with pink plush interior. These Oxblood R4s don’t come up for sale very often and I truly believe that this one is an excellent example.
