2007 Gibson Les Paul BFG Worn Ebony

Excellent condition featuring single cutaway chambered mahogany body, raw maple top, one P-90 pickup in the neck position and one humbucking pickup in the bridge position, tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, two volume controls and one tone control with gold speed knobs, three way pickup selector switch with white tip, kill switch on the upper bout, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with no inlays, Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, black peghead face with Gibson and Les Paul Model printed logos, multi-ply black bell shaped truss rod cover, clear plastic electronics and switch cavity cover plates, satin Worn Ebony finish, black nickel hardware, and black Gibson USA branded hard shell case. This guitar weighs 8lb even.

This 2007 Gibson Les Paul BFG is in excellent cosmetic condition showing only very light signs of play wear throughout. The original bridge pickup has been replaced with a Golden Age Parsons Street PAF style pickup. All four potentiometers are high quality CTS 500k replacements. An Emerson .22 Pio capacitor has been installed. The three way toggle switch and output jack have been replaced with Switchcraft units and an aluminum “on/off” switch ring has been installed around the kill switch toggle on the upper bout. The neck profile on this instrument is that of a medium chunky carve with a 1 11/16” nut width that feels outstanding, is very comfortable and is easy to play. The frets are in excellent condition, show virtually no signs of use and have a lifetime of playing left in them. This instrument has been professionally set up and plays superbly up and down the fingerboard with low, effortless action and excellent intonation. The Golden Age Parsons Street humbucking pickup sounds exceptional and delivers a woody yet articulate tone that has plenty of bite and grit. This pickup excels with overdrive tones and has just enough crisp highs and bite to really nail any kind of rock, hard rock and classic blues tones. The P-90 neck pickup is round and warm and in contrast to the humbucker, it excels for clean jazzy tones and fat, overdriven lead sounds. This pickup combination is pretty awesome, in my opinion, and makes this guitar extremely versatile. This guitar has a factory kill switch located on the top bout that can be used to make some pretty interesting and cool sounds! This Les Paul is very lightweight and resonant. It rings out loud and clear when unplugged and it’s just extremely fun to play! This BFG is housed in a Gibson hard shell case and is ready to find a good new home!
