This 2005 Gibson J-100 Xtra is in excellent cosmetic condition showing hardly any signs of use or wear throughout. There is one professionally repaired top crack below the bridge that is extremely solid. The neck profile is a very comfortable soft C shape with a 1 11/16" inch nut width. The frets show hardly any signs of play wear and have loads of life left in them. This instrument has been set up and plays extremely well up and down the fingerboard. The neck angle is optimal and there is plenty of saddle that could be lowered if desired. The top is very flat and doesn't have any sinking or bulging. This guitar has a very dry thumpy articulate sound that is very balanced with plenty of volume. The pickup sounds fantastic and makes this guitar perfect for live performance. This model with these specs is no longer being produced by Gibson and this one is a very fine example. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
