This 2005 Memphis made ES-335 with satin cherry finish is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition showing just some minor pick scratches on the pickguard. This guitar has had a professional set up and plays and intonates perfectly up and down the fretboard. The frets show very little signs of play wear and are full of life. The action is smooth and buttery. The neck profile is that of a medium chunky profile and feels great in hand. The guitar is extremely resonant unplugged and is a real rock, rhythm and blues machine plugged in. The Gibson humbucking pickups are fat and articulate. The satin finish allows this guitar to breathe a little bit more than a gloss finish and really gives this ES-335 a great organic tone. The rosewood fingerboard has nice figuring (it's actually just nice to have a real rosewood fingerboard!). There are some signs of use here and there, but nothing major (see photos). If you're looking for a tremendous cherry red ES-335, don't pass this one up. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop in Clarksville, Tennessee, to you front door.
