This 2003 Gibson SG Voodoo is in excellent and almost unplayed cosmetic condition. The finish shows hardly any signs of play wear but there are a few pick scratches on the pickguard. This guitar has been set up and place perfectly up and down the fingerboard. The frets on this guitar show very little signs of play wear and have tons of life left in them. The neck profile is comfortable and chunky and the ebony fingerboard feels fantastic. The open coil black and red Gibson humbucking pickups deliver aggressive high output overdriven tones and are perfect for rock or metal. The black and red colorway continues throughout this instrument with a red logo, a red skull at the fifth fret, and red lettering on the knobs and pickup selector ring which give this guitar a very unique look.
The Voodoo model SG is sought after by players and collectors alike and these early models are becoming hard to find in this condition. If you’ve been looking for one of these that is in immaculate condition or you’re just looking for a spooky Gibson SG, this one may fit the bill.
