2003 Gibson Les Paul Classic Copper Top

This 2003 Gibson Les Paul Classic (serial #035643) is in excellent condition. This guitar shows only very light signs of play wear throughout including a very small ding that is barely noticeable on the back of the neck and some very fine buckle rash on the back of the guitar. Otherwise, this Les Paul is extremely tidy and all original. This model has a really cool “Copper” top finish which was only offered in 2003 - Not too many of these floating around out there for sale. This guitar has a killer feeling slim tapered ‘60s neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck is fast and fun to play. The original fret wire is in excellent condition and shows only very little play wear. The frets are tall and free of any dents or divots. This Classic has just received a pro set up here in our shop and it plays like a champ up and down the rosewood fingerboard with low smooth action and great intonation! Both original open coil ceramic Gibson 500T and 496R pickups are present and sound absolutely fire. These pickups are hot and will push most amplifiers into a lovely saturation while retaining excellent note clarity and articulation. If you are looking for a really unique Lester that sounds and plays outstanding… this 2003 Copper Top might fit the bill.
