This 2001 Gibson ES-335 Limited Edition is in excellent cosmetic condition. This instrument shows some slight signs of play wear throughout including some light pick scratches on the pickguard and a very small ding on the tip of the peghead. Otherwise, this instrument is very nice and clean. This is only the second one of these Limited Edition ES-335 models that I’ve ever seen with this particular sunburst finish. I’m not sure how many were actually produced in this colorway but I believe that there are very few. This particular guitar does not feature the Limited Edition logo on the back of the peghead like the others I’ve seen and sold but it does have the exact same specs. It has ESPB-335 written on the interior label, on the paperwork and written in pencil in the bridge pickup route (see photos).

The neck profile on this 335 is that of a 60s slim taper with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck feels very nice in hand - it is comfortable and easy to play. The fret wire is in excellent condition and barely shows any play wear. This guitar has been professionally set up and it plays tremendous up and down the ebony fingerboard with low smooth action and great intonation. This guitar is equipped with its original Gibson 57 Classic humbucking pickups that sound tremendously good. These pickups are woody and articulate. They sound exceptional through a clean or dirty amplifier. This 335 will fit in perfectly for any type of rock, rhythm or blues. All the electronics are original and are in perfect working order. This guitar is housed in its original Gibson hard shell case, includes its original paperwork and weighs 8lb 8oz. The finish is vibrant and pairs great with the black binding and small block inlays. If you are looking for a unique 335, this one may be for you!
