2001 Danelectro DanoBlaster Sparkle Sunburst

Excellent condition featuring double cutaway contoured body with two-tone sunburst and sparkle finish, single ply pearloid white pickguard, three Dano-tuned single coil pickups with cream plastic covers, one volume control, one tone control and two effects control knobs with cream colored plastic skirted knobs, four push “off/on” buttons for the onboard effects including distortion, chorus, vibrato and reverb, five way pickup selector switch with white plastic tip, two output jacks for dry or effects signals, six point pivot tremolo bridge with six individual fully adjustable block saddles, bolt on maple neck, white pearloid inlays starting at the third fret, black plastic nut, maple Danelectro peghead shape with black Danelectro logo, three per side chrome sealed tuning machines, serial number on sticker on the back of the peghead, four bolt neck fastening plate with Danelectro and DanoBlaster engravings, single ply white plastic tremolo cavity cover plate, single ply white plastic 9V battery compartment cover plate and two metal strap buttons.

This 2001 Danelectro DanoBlaster is in excellent cosmetic condition showing signs of use and play wear throughout but no real scratches or dings. The neck is a nice C shape with a 1 11/16" nut width and feels very good in hand. The medium jumbo frets show almost no signs of play wear and have a ton of life left in them. This guitar plays great up and down the fingerboard. The original Dano-tuned single coil pickups sounds fantastic in every position and ring out loud and clear. They also have a nice squawk sound in the two and four position. The onboard effects in this guitar are fully functional and have been cleaned and tested. These onboard effects are literally a blast to play with and I have had more fun with this guitar than any other guitar that I’ve had in the shop for a while! The built-in distortion is over the top and actually sounds pretty great. The chorus and vibrato are where this guitar shines, in my opinion, and are extremely useful and easy to operate. The body shape is noticeably inspired by the Semie Moseley guitars of the 1960s and give a nod to the days past when reverb drenched guitar music surfed its way onto the airwaves and into our hearts. If you want a fun guitar, run, don’t walk towards this one! A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
