2000 Jackson USA SL1 Soloist Cherry Sunburst
This Jackson USA SL1 Soloist serial #U08194 was built in the Jackson Ontario, California, shop in the year 2000. This guitar is clean as a whistle and shows almost no signs of play wear throughout - just a superbly well cared for example. The original Seymour Duncans have been replaced with set of DiMarzio Super Distorions. The tone pot has been removed and a coil tap switch was installed in its place. The original pot and knob are included.
This USA Made Jackson Soloist has an incredibly fast and great feeling maple neck with a 25.5” scale and a 12”-16” compound radius fingerboard. The dark ebony board is super clean and looks killer paired with the mother of pearl Shark Fin inlays. The original medium jumbo frets show virtually no signs play wear and are free of any dents or divots. This guitar has received a pro set up and it plays absolutely effortlessly up and down the fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. The original Floyd Rose locking bridge is currently set up with a small block of wood and a piece of leather behind the block to keep it from floating, but we would be happy to set it up to float at your request before shipping it out. The DiMarzio pickups in this Soloist sound phenomenal and deliver a super tight mid-range punch with huge sustain and the coil tap located in the tone control position is extremely useful for dialing back the growl a little and nailing an aggressive single coil tone. This guitar features an exceptionally attractive curly maple top that pairs beautifully with the vibrant Cherry Sunburst finish. If you are after an expertly crafted USA Jackson guitar in near mint condition that sounds and looks like a total flamethrower, this might be the one! This guitar weighs 7lb 8oz and is housed in its original hardshell Jackson case. It includes its original trem arm, hangtag, booklet and the original shipping label and bill of sale from Jackson. We will ship this guitar out promptly and securely from our little shop here in Tennessee to your front door.
