This Paul Reed Smith McCarty model is cosmetically excellent with some play wear here and there but overall excellent for a 22 year old guitar (see photos). The neck on this guitar is of the chunky variety instead of the wide and flat profile that a lot of Paul Reed Smith guitars have. The stud tailpiece is rock solid and really gives this guitar an excellent feel and resonance. The McCarty treble and bass humbucking pickups sound clear and fat and the coil tap is a nice added touch. The maple top on this guitar is extremely attractive and curly and looks damn near as good as any 10 top I've ever seen. The Indian rosewood fingerboard is of a very dark variety and the half moon inlays are a really cool touch. All in all, a spectacular looking and playing PRS that has not sat in a case for years but has been used and for good reason. This guitar sounds killer and plays incredibly well.
