Excellent condition featuring double cutaway body with metallic swirl finish, two DiMarzio humbucking pickups with chrome pickup surrounds, one volume control and one tone control (with push/pull coil tap) with knurled barrel dome top knobs, three way pickup selector switch with black plastic tip, licensed Floyd Rose tailpiece, maple neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays starting at the third fret and Joe Satriani inlay at the 21st fret, Floyd Rose metal nut with three locking nuts, elongated string tree, Ibanez peghead with matching metallic swirl finish and chrome Ibanez logo, six in a line sealed tuning machines, model, serial number, and Made in Korea on the back of the peghead, four bolt neck fastening plate with Ibanez engraving, single ply black plastic tremolo cavity and electronics cavity cover plates, two metal strap buttons, and original hard shell case.
This 1999 Ibanez JS-100 electric guitar is set up with extremely low action. It plays well and the DiMarzio humbucking pickups absolutely rip. The licensed Floyd Rose tailpiece works perfectly and keeps this guitar in tune. The coil tap feature is extremely handy for nailing those hot single coil tones. The body and headstock finish was painted by custom guitar painter Dan Bontrager giving this guitar an exceptionally unique and cool look. The finish work is of very high professional quality and is very similar to a bowling ball swirl finish (The Dude abides).
