This is a great example of the SG-X model which was only produced by Gibson for a short period of time in the late 1990s. This guitar has chocolate brown finish which isn't seen very often and the guitar is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition with the original plastic film still on the back electronics cavity cover. The neck is of a medium chunky variety which tapers at the nut and gets larger at the 12th fret. The straightforward design with Gibson 500T ceramic humbucker, one volume control, one tone control, and coil tap make this guitar a no nonsense rock machine. A super cool and unique offering from the Gibson guitar company which is getting a bit harder to find. Don't pass this one up.
