Excellent condition featuring double cutaway solid alder body with Teal Green Metallic finish, HSS pickup configuration with Seymour Duncan custom wound Pearly Gates humbucking bridge pickup and two Texas Special single coil pickups, multi-ply white/black and pearloid pickguard, one volume and two tone controls, five way toggle switch, two point pivot tremolo system with steel block saddles, maple neck with walnut backstripe, maple fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and black plastic dot inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, Fender spaghetti logo and Stratocaster on the peghead with Made in USA, chrome sealed Fender stamped six in a line tuning machines, multi-ply pearloid tremolo cavity cover plate, four bolt Fender stamped neck fastening plate, and Fender G&G hard shell case.
This American made Lone Star Fender Stratocaster was made during the first year of issue and is in excellent condition with just some slight signs of use. The pickups and the pickup configuration make this guitar extremely versatile giving you the option of classic Strat sounds and bluesy/heavy humbucking tones. Later models of this guitar were made in Mexico, but these early USA made Lone Star Strats are incredible instruments.
