This 1996 Gibson Les Paul Custom SG is in excellent cosmetic condition showing some signs of play wear throughout including pick scratches and a few dings here and there (see photos). The neck profile is that of an early 60s carve with a 1 11/16" nut width. It is flat in the middle, however, this one seems to have a bit more chunkiness to the neck than some others I have played. The frets on this SG are in great shape and have tons of life left in them. This guitar has been professionally set up and plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. The '57 Classic humbucking pickups sound tremendous with a dirty or clean amp. The bridge pickup is clear and articulate and has really nice bite and cut. The neck and middle pickups sound very good clean and you can get that quirky in between sound as well! A Bigsby has been added to this SG and works extremely well. It was added using a Vibramate so it can be removed without leaving any holes or damage to the top of the instrument. The original stop tailpiece is included. At some point in this guitar's lifetime it was professionally refinished and the work is top notch. I black lit the entire guitar and found no signs of breaks or cracks so I’m guessing the original finish “yellowed” and the previous owner wanted it to be “white” again. But... that’s just a guess! Regardless, the finish looks great.

This SG is housed in its original 1990s brown Gibson case with the band name “Buffalo Killers” stenciled on top (Pretty rad band, by the way). I’ve always been a fan of these guitars and this is an awesome example. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
