1995 Gibson J-200 Ebony

Excellent condition featuring jumbo body size, solid Sitka spruce top with decorative soundhole rosette, solid maple back and sides, multiple bound top and back body edges, elongated tortoiseshell grain pickguard with decorative engraved floral pattern with mother of pearl dot inlays, rosewood mustache bridge with mother of pearl block inlay, rosewood bridge pins with abalone dots and bone saddle, two piece maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with graduated crown inlays starting at the first fret, enlarged bound Gibson open book peghead with pearl Gibson logo and crown inlays, multi-ply black bell shaped truss rod cover, three per side Gibson Kluson Deluxe tuning machines with green keystone buttons, white heel, multi-ply heel cap, decorative backstripe, two strap buttons, Ebony black finish, gold hardware and original brown Gibson hard shell case. 

This 1995 Gibson J-200 flat top guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition showing very little signs of play wear throughout. The frets show some signs of usage but have tons of life left in them and the guitar plays fantastic up and down the fingerboard. This J-200 has an optimal neck angle with a medium to tall saddle that could be cut down if desired. This guitar sounds great and really produces the big round, dry articulate sound that these guitars are famous for and that most Gibson flat top players are looking for in a guitar. There is a less than 1 inch long side crack on the bass side lower bout that has been professionally repaired and is completely solid (see photos). The guitar is housed in its original brown Gibson hard shell case. The case exterior has some autographs on it but it is unclear whose signatures these are. 

This J-200 has been immaculately cared for and came to our shop from the original owner. These 1990s Bozeman, Montana, made Gibson J-200s with ebony finish are quite hard to come by and this one is a stunner!
