Excellent condition featuring single cutaway laminated maple body with bound top and back edges, G brand on the bass side top of the body, two oversized bound F holes, elevated plexi gold pickguard with Gretsch logo and Nashville sign post logo, two Filter'Tron humbucking pickups with clear gold plexi pickup surrounds, Gretsch by Bigsby V tailpiece, wired ABR fully adjustable tune-o-matic style bridge on wooden base, two volume controls, master volume control and two tone controls with knurled flat top barrel knobs with G and arrow engravings, three-way toggle switch, two piece maple neck, bound ebony fingerboard with steer head and cactus Western style inlays starting at the first fret, bone nut, bound Gretsch peghead, figured maple headstock overlay with pearloid Gretsch and horseshoe logo inlays, multi-ply black and white truss rod cover, three per side Sperzel locking tuners, bound heel cap, knurled metal screw in strap buttons, gold plated metal hardware, orange finish and original hard shell case. Made in Japan.

This 1994 Gretsch 6120W is in excellent cosmetic condition and is set up in fantastic playing order. The frets show little wear and have loads of life left in them. This guitar plays excellent up and down the fingerboard. The tuning machines have been changed to Sperzel locking tuners (The holes from the original tuners have been filled and are still visible). These are the same type of tuning machines used on the Brian Setzer signature series Gretsch guitars and keep this guitar in rock solid tune. The Filter'Tron humbucking pickups sound dynamite and deliver that great Gretsch sound. The Western motif is super cool and gives this instrument a stand out look. I have always particularly liked Gretsch instruments built in the 1990s and consider them to be killer players. If you're looking for a big guitar that can deliver anything from rockabilly to hard rock to jazz, I definitely recommend this Gretsch.
