This 1994 Fender American Standard 40th Anniversary Stratocaster is in excellent cosmetic condition showing only a few dings and scratches here and there but nothing serious. This Strat has been professionally set up and plays excellent up and down the fingerboard. The original frets show some signs of use but have loads of life left in them and the neck profile is a very comfortable soft C shape. The pickups are replacements which I believe are made by Seymour Duncan. These pickups sound fantastic in every position delivering a very articulate and clear bell like tone and really give this Strat a great vintage sounding vibe. The two point pivot tremolo system is set up correctly and the block saddles paired with the Fender stamped tuning machines really keep this guitar's tuning rock solid. This Stratocaster is very resonant and lightweight and sounds good unplugged. The tremolo cover plate is missing from this guitar and it’s in an aftermarket hard shell case.

These commemorative 40th Anniversary Stratocasters were only made in 1994 and have always been known for being excellent guitars. This instrument is capable of delivering fantastic tones for anything from rock to dad style blues. If you’re looking for a very fine practical instrument or just an all-around great player, this guitar is a serious contender!
