1990 Jerry Jones Master Electric Sitar
Excellent condition featuring laminated poplar and masonite chambered body with maroon crackle "gator" finish, three Jerry Jones lipstick tube pickups, three volume controls and three tone controls with small black reflector top knobs, buzz bridge, two clear plexiglass pickguards with frosted edges, six string maple neck and 13 sympathetic harp strings on the bass side of the body, Indian rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets, black peghead face with Jerry Jones Electric Sitar logo, six in a line Gotoh tuners, and black rectangular hard shell case.
This 1990 Jerry Jones electric sitar is in overall excellent cosmetic condition (see photos). The C shaped neck feels fantastic in hand. The frets on this instrument show hardly any signs of use and have a lifetime of playing left in them. This sitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. The lipstick tube single coil pickups sound great and the sitar bridge is in perfect working order. Jerry Jones guitars were built extremely well and have been used by professionals in and out of studios for years. These are becoming quite collectible and only seem to be rising in price as well.
