This 1990 Fender Stratocaster Plus is in very good cosmetic condition showing some signs of play wear throughout including a couple of very small dings here and there and some wear around the peghead (see photos) but nothing serious. This Stratocaster has been played through the years but looks to have been very well cared for. The neck profile on this guitar is that of a medium chunky C shape - actually a bit more chunky than I’m used to seeing from this era - and it feels fantastic and very comfortable in the hand. The frets show very little wear and this Strat plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The original Gold Lace Sensor pickups really sound terrific in every position - just very clear, articulate and plenty of chime. I was able to coax some incredibly classic and downright beautiful Stratocaster tones from this 32 year old guitar just plugged straight into a Twin Reverb. The original locking tuning machines work great on this guitar, really make changing strings a snap and keep solid tuning stability especially paired with the Wilkinson nut. The Black Pearl Dust finish is just incredibly cool and looks stunning. This guitar is quite resonate and produces a loud crisp tone when unplugged and you can feel it vibrate against your body. This Stratocaster is housed in an unoriginal but super nice Fender hard shell case with a grey tweed covering that fits this thing like a glove. If you're after a great Stratocaster, I highly recommend this one. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
