1988 Marshall JCM100/50W Model 2555 Black Jubilee Head

Excellent condition featuring 100 or 50 selectable watts of power, gold metal faceplate with model number and Jim Marshall signature, power, standby and low/high output rocker switches, brown and aluminum control knobs, push/pull output master and input gain knobs, large white plastic Marshall logo, four black plastic corner caps, black plastic top grill, black rubberized handle and black Tolex covering with white piping. 

This 1988 Marshall 2555 is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor signs of play wear throughout. This amp is in perfect working order and was serviced about a year ago. All the transformers are original and it has a NOS set of Siemens power tubes installed. The JCM100/50W 2555’s were built in Bletchley, England, by Marshall from 1988-1990 and are quite hard to come by these days. These amps are sometimes referred to as “The Black Jubilee.” If you are looking for an incredible sounding Marshall amp that delivers faithful “Jubilee” tones at a higher volume, then look no further!
