This 1981 Vantage FV-575 is in excellent vintage cosmetic condition showing only slight signs of play wear throughout. Overall, this instrument is very clean. The bridge pickup is a replacement DiMarzio Super Distortion from around the same era as the guitar. There is a mini toggle switch that is a coil tap that works on the bridge pickup only and I’m not entirely sure if it was added or came from the factory with it (Not too many examples of these around!). The neck profile is that of a very comfortable, medium chunky, rounded C shape with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck feels great in the hand! The frets show only slight signs of play wear and have tons of life left. This guitar plays great up and down the fingerboard with low action and good intonation. This Vantage sounds killer plugged in - both pickups scream and with enough gain dialed in you can summon the Gods of power metal. These pickups have a very tight, powerful response that will suit any style of rock and will surely set you on the path of a righteous riff lord. These vintage Japanese made Vantage instruments are well made and just plain bitchin. This one is the coolest one that I’ve encountered in some time. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
