1976 Fender Deluxe Reverb 1x12 Combo Amp

Very good condition featuring 22 watts of power, one 12” black framed speaker, two channels “Wet/Dry” and four inputs, two 6V6GT power tubes, one GZ34/5AR4 rectifier tube, four 12AX7 tubes for preamplification and tremolo oscillation and two 12AT7 tubes for the reverb and phase inverter circuits, original baffle board and grill cloth with Fender (no tail) logo in the left corner, silver face plate with blue lines and black and blue text, black and white plastic Fender amp knobs, red jewel light, black rubberized handle and original black Tolex covering.

This 1976 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp is in very good cosmetic condition showing signs of use and play wear throughout (see photos). The 12” speaker appears to be a later replacement and has a date code from 1980 and the power cable has been changed to a later style 3 prong unit. All transformers are original. The output transformer bares the code 606-647 indicating that this component was made during the 47th week of 1976. The potentiometers have the code 137614 indicating that these components were made during the 14th week of 1976. The inside of this amp is very tidy and appears to have been professionally serviced though I cannot attest to the period of time when this work was completed. The original sticker with the serial number is also present inside of the amp and bares the number A619268 (see photos). This 1976 Deluxe Reverb amp sounds exceptional and is fully operational. The reverb is strong and the tremolo operates perfectly. The pots operate smoothly and are without any crackling/dirty sounds. The replacement black frame speaker sounds great and has a strong clear bottom end. This Deluxe Reverb stays relatively clean (with a single coil pickup) until the volume is increased to around 4.5 to 5 and then the amp has a very nice, creamy overdriven signal. The Deluxe Reverb has always been revered as a tremendous grab and go amplifier that is perfect for recording and gigging alike. This 45 year old example is no exception and will make a great addition for any guitar picker. A gem of an amplifier shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
