This guitar weighs 8lb 3oz.

This 1971 Gibson ES-335 is in excellent cosmetic condition showing barely any signs of play wear throughout. The finish is extremely dark and looks almost black in certain light sources. This 335 is all original throughout aside from its hard shell case which is an older case that fits it like a glove. This guitar is stamped “2” on the back of the peghead below the serial number but shows no signs on imperfections or flaws that I can find. The neck profile on this guitar is that of a medium chunky rounded “D” shape with a 1 9/16” nut width. The neck is very comfortable and easy to play. The original frets are in excellent condition and show very little signs of use. This 335 plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. The truss rod works as it should. The original PAT# sticker T-Top humbucking pickups sound absolutely dynamite in this guitar. The wiring harness is also all original, works perfectly and appears to be untouched. This is the cleanest example of a 335 from this era that we’ve encountered in some time. If you are looking for a fantastic vintage Gibson semi-hollow, then this one should be on your radar. A gem of a guitar shipped safely and promptly from our little shop in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
