This 1966 Fender Super Reverb amp is in excellent, exceptionally clean cosmetic condition showing only the slightest signs of play wear throughout. The Tolex, grill cloth and all metal parts are in superb condition. This amp is original throughout with the exception of the four CTS speakers which date to the 16th week of 1971. This amp has been expertly serviced, inspected and cleaned. The amp received a cap job, new power tubes (the preamp tubes are mid 60s) and a new three prong power cable for safe operation. The transformers are all original and date to the 50th, 47th, 48th and 42nd weeks of 1965. There are visible potentiometer codes of 1376542 which indicate that these components were made on the 42nd week of 1965 and the paper tube chart tag located on the inside of the amp has a stamped code of “PB” which dates this tag to February 1966. This Super Reverb amp is in perfect operating order and sounds fantastic. This amp has plenty of headroom and will start to saturate around 5 o’clock. This is a truly outstanding pedal platform and a wonderful studio companion. The reverb and vibrato both work perfectly (the foot switch is missing) and sound great. If you are after an exceptionally great sounding vintage Fender amp that needs nothing, then this '66 Super Reverb will provide you with years of enjoyment and faithful service. A gem of an amp shipped safely and promptly from our little shop in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
