This 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior model is all original from the electronics to the frets. The guitar has been played extensively and shows wear throughout (multiple dings, nicks and scratches - see photos), but has not been altered in any way. These guitars are getting harder to find without modifications and this one is a true survivor from Tennessee. The guitar is set up well and is very resonant and loud unplugged. It has a great feeling chunky neck profile and is absolutely everything you would want in a vintage Les Paul Junior. The dog ear P-90 is clear, woody and aggressive.
Unlike many wraparound tailpieces from this era, both studs are straight (not leaning). There is some wear around the peghead edges and the G and D tuner posts are both slightly bent, but function well and hold tune without issue (see photos). There is a small nick on the heel of the neck and there are also small scratches and nicks on the back of the neck, but these are cosmetic and don't affect the playability of the guitar. This Junior is about as cool as these get. Don't miss out on this 63 year old Les Paul.
