Excellent condition featuring double cutaway contoured basswood body, Shadows White finish throughout, multi-ply black, white and tortoiseshell grain pickguards with Handcrafted by Burns London logo, three Burns Tri-Sonic single coil pickups with Burns Tri-Sonic embossed chrome covers, three control knobs with knurled metal dome top knobs, five way Punch/Pull pickup selector switch with black plastic tip, Burns De-luxe top loading bridge with four individual adjustable barrel saddles and Marquee Bass engraving, bolt on 20 fret maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with small pearloid dot inlays starting at the third fret, zero fret, black plastic nut, batwing peghead shape with clear Marquee Bass plaque, single ply black plastic truss rod cover, four in a line chrome sealed tuning machines with Burns London logos, four bolt neck fastening plate with Burns London, Club Series and serial number engravings and two metal strap buttons.

This used Burns Marquee Reissue Bass guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition and shows only a few signs of play wear throughout including one small ding and two very small finish cracks in the neck pocket area (very common on bolt on instruments) that I have photographed. In other respects, this bass is in fantastic shape. The neck profile is a nice C shape with a nice bit of chunkiness and a 40mm nut width and feels extremely comfortable in hand. The frets on this Burns are in virtually unplayed condition and have a lifetime of use left in them. This instrument is set up with flat wound strings and plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. The three Tri-Sonic pickups offer a variety of tones from thin and surfy to warm, round and thumpy and sound fantastic in every position. All of the electronics operate smoothly and quietly. This bass has Shadows White finish throughout (body, peghead and neck) and is one of very few that I’ve encountered, as most have natural maple necks. This is a very well made, great sounding and unique bass that harkens back to the days when surf was king. A gem of a bass shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
