2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Cherry Sunburst

Excellent condition featuring single cutaway mahogany body with cherry red stain finish, beautifully figured two-piece maple top with cherry sunburst finish, aged white binding on the top edge of the body, elevated cream single ply pickguard with chrome bracket, two humbucking pickups with cream colored plastic surrounds, two volume controls and two tone controls with gold speed knobs, three position toggle switch, stop tailpiece, Nashville tune-o-matic bridge, one-piece mahogany neck with cherry red stain finish, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo inlay and screenprinted Les Paul Model logo, multi-ply bell shaped truss rod cover with Traditional engraving, Kluson Deluxe tuning machines with green keystone buttons, black plastic electronics control plate covers, two metal strap buttons, chrome plated metal hardware, and original hard shell case.

This 2008 first year Les Paul Traditional is an absolutely fantastic guitar weighing in at 9lb 2oz. The guitar shows light signs of play wear and is in cosmetically excellent condition. The two-piece maple top has beautiful curl and looks great with the cherry sunburst finish. The original pickups in this guitar deliver incredible sounding clear yet thick tones that Les Pauls are notoriously famous for. The Kluson Deluxe tuners and Nashville tune-o-matic bridge help keep this guitar in solid tune and keep the intonation on point. The neck is a comfortable '59 style but smaller than some R9s. This is one of the better Les Paul Traditionals that I've played and I believe that during the first few years of production on this model Gibson paid closer attention to detail.
