This 2007 Fender Buddy Guy Stratocaster is in near mint condition. This instrument shows no signs of wear throughout and looks new. This guitar features a soft V shaped neck profile that feels great is comfortable and is easy to play. The V shape is more pronounced at the 1st through the 3rd fret and then tapers off and gets a bit more rounded. The frets on this instrument show no signs of play wear and are in immaculate condition. This guitar has been set up and it plays fantastic up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The tremolo operates smoothly and the original tremolo arm is included.
The original Fender single coil pickups sound great and deliver quintessential, super clear, articulate tones that one would expect from a quality Stratocaster. These pickups are very balanced and the 2 and 4 positions have an excellent “in between” “quack”. If you are after a signature series Buddy Guy Stratocaster, this 15 year old example is about as fine as it gets!
