This 2002 Fender SRV Stratocaster is in very good cosmetic condition. This instrument is exceptionally clean other than a few small body dings and a couple of small scratches on the back of the guitar that I have photographed. The pickguard has been changed to a single ply white plastic 50s style guard. The guitar arrived to our shop without its original case so we are including a gig bag. Other than the original pickguard and case, this guitar is all original. The neck profile on this Stratocaster is that of a nice medium chunky “vintage” style carve. This neck has nice rounded shoulders and is a bit flatter in the center. This neck feels very nice and is comfortable to play. The original fret wire shows no signs of play wear. The frets look practically brand new and the pau farro fingerboard is exceptionally clean. This Strat has just been set up and it plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The original pickups sound great and the original electronics are working properly. This guitar sounds fantastic through a clean or dirty amplifier. The pickups are well balanced and have a nice articulate bite - perfect for blues, rock or sparkling clean tones. If you’ve been hunting for an SRV Stratocaster for a good price, this is the one!
