This 2000 Fender HSS Standard Series Stratocaster is in excellent cosmetic condition showing hardly any signs of wear throughout with the exception of some wear on the back of the body (see photos). The neck on this instrument is that of a nice C shape and feels great in hand. The frets show hardly any signs of use and have tons of life left in them and this guitar plays excellent up and down the fingerboard. The original pickups sound fantastic and deliver anything from classic Stratocaster bell like tones to heavier overdriven sounds courtesy of the humbucking bridge pickup. The six point pivot tremolo bridge operates smoothly and the tuning machines work perfectly. Standard Series instruments are no longer being produced by Fender. These have always been well regarded as high quality workhorse instruments and this one is no exception. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
