2000 Fender Eric Clapton Blackie Stratocaster Neck + 2012 MJT Body

Excellent condition featuring double cutaway contoured alder body with distressed black finish, single ply white pickguard, three single coil Stratocaster pickups, one volume control and two tone controls with white plastic skirted knobs, five way pickup selector switch with white tip, six point pivot tremolo bridge with six individual fully adjustable Fender stamped bent steel saddles, elongated oval shaped output jack plate, maple neck with walnut skunkstripe, maple fretboard with black dot inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, small maple Fender Stratocaster peghead with Fender spaghetti logo, Stratocaster logo, Blackie and Eric Clapton signature, six in a line vintage style Kluson tuning machines, serial number stamped on the back of the peghead, four bolt neck fastening plate, two metal strap buttons and tweed covered hard shell case with red plush interior.

This Stratocaster is in excellent overall cosmetic condition. The neck profile has a soft V shape from the first fret to the seventh fret and feels fantastic in hand. The frets show very minimal signs of play wear and have a ton of life left in them. This guitar has been professionally set up and plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. This Stratocaster was professionally assembled and is an absolute blast to play! The pickups are a set of Klein Epic Series 1957 single coils that sound phenomenal and deliver warm, articulate bell like tones. They are very well balanced and sound terrific in each position. I've played a boat load of aftermarket and boutique Strat pickups and these, in my opinion, are indeed some of the very finest and really seem to work well in this particular guitar. The rest of the electronics are also made by Klein. The body was made by MJT in 2012 and looks incredible. The distressed finish on this one is top notch. The neck is from a 2000 American made Fender Eric Clapton “Blackie” Stratocaster and really gives this guitar a great feel. If you're after a tremendous playing and sounding Stratocaster with tons of vibe, I highly recommend this one!
