Excellent condition featuring offset basswood body with Vintage White finish, anodized aluminum pickguard, two single coil "soapbar" pickups, one volume and one tone control with white parchment Fender knobs, three way pickup selector switch, jazz circuit with on/off switch and knurled metal roller volume and tone controls, Jazzmaster vibrato tailpiece, fully adjustable tune-o-matic style bridge, C shape maple neck with vintage tint, slab Indian Laurel fingerboard with jumbo frets and white dot inlays starting at the third fret, maple enlarged peghead with vintage Squier and Jazzmaster logos, six in a line vintage Kluson style tuning machines, J Mascis facsimile signature on the back of the peghead, four bolt neck fastening plate with engraved Squier logo, chrome plated metal hardware, and two metal strap buttons.
This is an outstanding playing and sounding offering from Squier with a great set up and a very cool vintage vibe. The neck profile is very comfortable and the tune-o-matic bridge keeps this guitar feeling solid (unlike vintage style barrel saddles). The guitar is in excellent condition and shows no signs of playing wear. There is a faint used stamp on the top of the back of the peghead and the last two digits of the serial number are missing. This is definitely one of the coolest Squier models to come out in recent years. J Mascis has used the Jazzmaster to great effect. Now's your chance to do the same.
