Excellent condition featuring AAA highly figured flamed maple top with tobacco sunburst finish, chambered mahogany body, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays starting at the third fret and sterling silver and mother of pearl yin-yang and sun inlay at the 12th fret, two OX4 Hot Duane humbucking pickups, one volume and one tone control with amber bonnet knobs, three way pickup selector switch, TonePros bridge/tailpiece combination, ivoroid bound top, fingerboard, headstock, and pickup surrounds, dark rosewood headstock veneer with Snider logo mother of pearl inlay, maple truss rod cover, vintage style Kluson Deluxe tuning machines with plastic tulip buttons, carved body heel, two metal strap buttons, and high quality Reunion Blues gig bag. The finish on the side and edge of the back in one area shows some leg wear from the guitar being played while seated (see photos).
The chambered body and neck are made from 300 year old mahogany. It's noted by the builder that this is the only guitar Snider has built with this aged mahogany. This guitar was custom ordered by the previous owner to these specifications. This is a finely crafted instrument with excellent ergonomics, an insanely comfortable neck with top notch frets and fret work, ridiculously good sounding pickups (inspired by Duane Allman), and a beautifully figured maple top. The centuries old mahogany that this instrument is built from is lightweight and is also beautifully figured. It gives this guitar a very unique and high quality tone. An extremely fine and tasteful instrument.
