The Combinata Bass VII is a spectacular design from world renowned instrument designer and builder Dennis Fano. This bass is slightly reminiscent of Fano's RB6 guitar model but with an enlarged body. This bass has been expertly set up by the Novo Guitars crew in Nashville and the fret work is meticulous. The German carve top and Toro Black Satin finish are extremely attractive. The C neck profile feels incredible in hand and plays flawlessly up and down the fingerboard. This particular bass is very resonant unplugged and sounds incredible plugged in. The custom wound single coil pickups deliver plenty of low end and articulate, unique and familiar bass tones from the 60s through to today. The tonal qualities combined with the amazing playability make this bass easily one of our favorite new basses available today. This is a unique, expertly designed and extremely cool mid-scale chambered bass.
