This Ibanez SA Series MA 280 is in excellent cosmetic condition throughout showing only minor signs of play wear. The Antique White finish has yellowed with age and adds to the overall vibe of this instrument. The neck profile is that of a U shape with a 1 11/16" nut width and feels very comfortable and fast in hand. The jumbo fret wire on this instrument shows almost no signs of play wear and has a lifetime of use left. This instrument plays extremely well up and down the fingerboard. The Ibanez humbucking pickups sound good in all three positions and are very well balanced. These pickups are perfectly suitable for various styles of rock music and handle high gain situations with ease. This guitar has a coil tap for each pickup and does a nice job with single coil tones as well and this feature really adds versatility. The two point pivot Ibanez tremolo unit works smoothly and the trem arm in included. This model is fairly uncommon, is very solidly built and offers a ton of value for your dollars.
