Excellent condition featuring single cutaway mahogany body, multiple bindings on the top body edges, two chrome covered humbucking pickups with black pickup surrounds, two volume controls and two tone controls with reflector top knobs, three way pickup selector switch with black tip, three way tone filter toggle switch (hi-mid cut/center bypass/hi cut), multi-ply elevated black pickguard, fully adjustable tune-o-matic style bridge, Hagstrom tailpiece with chrome cover, set mahogany neck, multiple bound Resinator fingerboard with elongated rectangular block inlays starting at the third fret, multiple bound Hagstrom peghead with Hagstrom logo and fleur de lis pearloid inlays, single ply truss rod cover with Swede engraving, GraphTech tusq nut, Hagstrom stamped sealed Imperial style tuning machines, single ply black plastic electronics control cavity plate and switch cover plates, two metal strap buttons, White Gloss finish, chrome plated metal hardware, and original light brown Hagstrom hard shell case.
This Hagstrom Swede is in dynamite cosmetic condition and is set up in very good playing order. There is one small nick in the finish on the back of the body and the pickguard has some pick wear (see photos). The neck profile is on the slim side and feels comfortable and fast in hand. The medium jumbo frets are in great shape and do not show any signs of play wear. The humbucking pickups sound great and are easy to control with the standard electronics layout and have further tonal possibilities with the tone toggle switch. The single cutaway body shape is super cool and familiar especially if you've played any of these beasts from the 1970s. The white gloss finish paired with the black accents and dark fingerboard look awesome. If you're looking for a super cool guitar, you've found it.
