This new California made Guild M-25E plays and sounds fantastic. It has a very comfortable body size to sit with and play. The neck profile is also very comfortable and the 1 3/4" nut width is perfect for fingerstyle and strumming. This M-25E has complex and articulate mahogany tones with very nice overtones. The M-20 model has a rich history with the Guild guitar company and has long been a fantastic option for beginning and advanced guitar players alike and the M-25E model takes it several steps further with both vintage style and modern features like the factory-installed LR Baggs pickup system. Although we're big fans of Guild guitars made in the 50s and 60s, the neck profile and larger nut width definitely make this guitar a lot more player friendly than the older models. The solid African mahogany is extremely high quality and has very attractive grain and a thin satin finish. The guitar catches and reflects light beautifully, especially with the California Burst gloss top finish. A fantastic offering from Guild USA.
