Excellent condition featuring double cutaway Stratocaster style body with three tone sunburst finish, multi-ply Telecaster style black pickguard, two single coil Telecaster pickups (one Seymour Duncan '54 Tele bridge pickup and one Gotoh neck pickup), one volume control and one tone control with dome top knurled knobs and three way pickup selector switch with top hat tip mounted to elongated Telecaster style chrome control panel plate, push/push pot for phase, Telecaster style ashtray bridge with three brass adjustable barrel saddles, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with "clay" dot inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, maple Telecaster shaped peghead with Fender spaghetti logo and Telecaster logos, one single butterfly string tree, six in a line vintage Kluson style tuning machines, four bolt neck fastening plate, string through body construction with six metal string ferrules, two metal strap buttons, and molded plastic hard shell case. This guitar weighs just under 7lb.
This guitar was built with an extremely high level of craftsmanship and with high quality parts by our good friend in Nashville, Tennessee. It has the best of both worlds - Telecaster electronics and a Stratocaster body shape and feel - and superb playability. The neck profile is chunky and a V shape from the first fret to the fifth fret and then tapers to a U shape. The fret work and set up work are impeccable. The string through body construction is great for sustain and makes changing strings easy. The pickguard shows some light pick scratches, but the guitar is overall very clean and ready for a great new home. An all around incredible utility instrument with a very unique look.
