Excellent condition featuring single cutaway alder slab body with three tone sunburst gloss urethane finish, multi-ply mint green plastic pickguard, two Fender vintage-style ‘60s Tele® single-coil pickups, one volume control and one tone control with knurled metal dome top knobs and three way pickup selector switch with black plastic top hat switch tip mounted to elongated metal control plate, rounded Telecaster bridge plate with six individual adjustable saddles, Bigsby tailpiece, bolt on “Early ‘60s C”-shaped maple neck, pao farro fingerboard with white dot inlays starting at the third fret, synthetic bone nut, Telecaster peghead shape with Fender spaghetti logo and Telecaster logo, single butterfly string tree, six in a line vintage-style tuning machines, serial number and Made In Mexico printed on the back of the peghead, four bolt neck fastening plate, string through body construction with six metal string ferrules, two metal strap buttons, nickel and chrome plated metal hardware and black padded gig bag. This guitar weighs 8lb 2oz.
This 2022 Fender Vintera '60s Telecaster is in excellent cosmetic condition showing few signs of play wear with the exception of one small ding on the body edge (see photos). This Telecaster features a very nice feeling"Early '60s C" shaped neck which feels very comfortable in hand. The neck has gloss finish which makes it fun to play and difficult to put down. The frets are of the vintage-style variety and show no signs of play wear. This guitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The Fender vintage-style ‘60s Tele® single-coil pickups sound exceptionally good and deliver some serious bite and twang without being harsh. These pickups are excellent for anything from clean country spank to very nice, sparkly overdriven rock tones. This instrument is a good weight and sounds resonant and loud unplugged. This guitar, in my opinion, offers a tremendous amount of value for your hard earned dollar with build quality, sound, playability and specs that any guitar picker can appreciate. If you are after a seriously great Telecaster, I don’t think you can go wrong with this Vintera Series model.
