Excellent condition featuring mahogany body, two piece quilted maple top with Vintage Sunburst finish and multiple bindings, Schecter USA Sunset Strip bridge pickup, Schecter USA Pasadena bridge pickup, black plastic pickup surrounds, one volume control and one push/pull tone control with black speed knobs, three position pickup selector switch with black tip, multi-ply black and white pickguard, TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic style bridge, T1Z tailpiece, set mahogany neck with Thin C profile, multiple bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays and jumbo frets, GraphTech ivory tusq nut, multiple bound peghead with Schecter Diamond Series logo, multi-ply black truss rod cover with Custom print, Schecter locking tuning machines, chrome plated metal hardware, and two metal strap buttons. This guitar weighs 8lb 2oz.
This 2019 Schecter E-1 Custom is in excellent nearly unplayed cosmetic condition. The protective plastic film and “Inspected by” sticker is still on the electronics cavity control plate. This instrument would be listed as Mint condition but there are a few very faint pick scratches on the pickguard. Other than that, this guitar is like new. The neck profile on this E-1 is that of a chunky C shape that is nice and rounded with a 1 11/16” nut width. The neck on this Schecter feels nice and full and is particularly comfortable. The jumbo frets are in unplayed condition and show no wear. This guitar plays excellent up and down the fingerboard. The Schecter Hot Rodded humbucking pickups sound great and all of the electronics are in perfect working order. This guitar sounds absolutely fantastic for any type of heavy overdriven music, and quite surprisingly, this guitar also delivers some pretty stellar clean tones as well. The locking tuners do a great job of assuring that your tuning is rock solid and they make string changes quick and easy. This is a very high quality instrument - the fit, finish, build construction and visual appointments are top notch for an instrument in this price range. This guitar seems to blend elements from the old early 80s Gibson E2 CMT Explorer and the Ibanez Destroyer, along with some more modern touches, very seamlessly. This guitar, in my opinion, is the coolest creation from Schecter in a long while. If you are after a killer instrument with top notch build quality and classic looks for a really fair price, I don’t think you can go wrong with this E-1 - it rips!
