This Mark Holcomb signature model shipped from the factory tuned to Drop C and is designed to suit both low tunings and standard tuning. It is currently set up flawlessly in Drop C tuning (low to high CGCFAD) and sounds and plays fantastic. The Holcomb Burst top finish is very attractive and fades from transparent black to violet purple to black. The neck profile is fairly chunky and comfortable and feels great with the satin neck finish. The saddles on this guitar have been upgraded to GraphTech and the tuning machines have been upgraded to Hipshot locking tuners (the original holes remain - see photos). The upgraded saddles and tuners make this guitar rock solid. The push/pull coil tapping feature gives this guitar versatility. This PRS is well suited for heavier music and rock in general.

Other specifications include a quilted maple veneer, black chrome hardware, and a 3-way blade pickup switch with push/pull tone knob for coil splitting.
