This 2019 Martin DSS-17 is in very clean cosmetic condition. The guitar has been professionally set up and plays incredible up and down the fingerboard with very low action. At just over 3 1/2 lbs, this dreadnought is an absolute featherweight cannon. The frets show very little to moderate play wear and have years of life left in them and the Whiskey Sunset finish is quite striking. There is a small area of pick wear around the soundhole above the pickguard (see photos). The tuning machines have been upgraded to extremely nice Waverly gold plated open back vintage style tuners which is a major upgrade to this guitar that definitely aids in the guitar's overall tuning stability.

This guitar has a very dry mid-range with tight low end response and tons of volume. This is one of the finest sounding flattops to come through our store in a while. We're thoroughly impressed by the tone and playability. It would make a fantastic songwriting companion and studio guitar. This dreadnought sounds good for flat picking and fingerstyle. If you're looking for an all around dynamite American made flattop guitar, don't pass this one up. Includes a super cool upgraded Martin soft case.
