This 2018 PRS CE 24 is in excellent condition. This instrument shows some signs of play wear throughout including some very minor pick scratches, a very small ding in the back body edge, a couple of very tiny top dings, a small pinhead sized ding on the top of the peghead and the treble side edge of the bridge shows wear. Otherwise, this guitar is in great shape and it appears that the previous owner enjoyed playing it. The original PRS bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan JB. This instrument features 25” scale, a maple PRS Pattern Wide Thin neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width and a rosewood fingerboard with a 10” radius. This neck feels fantastic in the hand and is very comfortable and fun to play! The fret wire is in great condition and shows little wear. This guitar has been setup and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with low snappy action and spot on intonation. The hardware is top notch and features the PRS Patented tremolo bridge unit with six individual adjustable brass saddles (the original tremolo arm is included) and the PRS low mass locking tuners. This hardware combination excels for tuning stability and the locking tuners make string changes quick and easy. This CE 24 sounds fantastic and is super versatile. The Seymour Duncan pairs very well with the PRS 85/15 neck pickup and they are well balanced together. The Seymour Duncan gives this guitar just a little more umph and character, in my opinion. This is a stellar instrument for all sorts of music from rock to soul and the coil tap allows you to explore further tonal options. This PRS is exceptionally lightweight coming in at 7lb even and is very resonant when played unplugged. These CE 24s are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a top quality American made bolt on neck electric guitar that plays outstanding, stays in tune and sounds good.
