This 2018 Martin 000-18 plays great and has a tremendous open sound. It's perfectly suitable for fingerstyle guitar playing as well as flatpicking or strumming. The single note articulation jumps and sounds fantastic. The neck profile is extremely comfortable and the frets have little to no wear. The aged top toner gives this guitar a very attractive look and the mahogany back on this guitar has very nice figure. The Grover StaTite tuning machines keep this guitar in perfect tune and the compensated bone saddle ensures good intonation up and down the fretboard. The 000 body size is very comfortable and produces the signature Martin tone. The LR Baggs pickup sounds fantastic and has been professionally installed. This guitar is perfect for live performance as well as living room playing and could make someone a great companion for years to come. You just can't beat a Martin guitar.
