This 2017 PRS S2 Custom 22 semi-hollowbody electric guitar is in excellent condition showing little to no signs of play wear throughout. The neck profile is noted as a PRS regular pattern and it has a nice rounded semi-chunky carve that retains an exceptional ergonomic feel which is very comfortable to play. The frets on this instrument show no signs of play wear and this guitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The PRS tremolo bridge works smoothly and, in my opinion, is one most functionally stable tremolo units out there and this instrument stays in tune very well thanks to the PRS locking tuning machines. The hardware on this instrument is top notch. The uncovered PRS 85/15 humbucking pickups sound exceptional and deliver very articulate, snappy balanced tones. Through an overdriven amp, this guitar is monstrous sounding and excels at anything in the rock to heavy rock genre but being a semi-hollow instrument, this guitar also nails clean jazzy tones and fusion with ease - just a very versatile guitar. PRS has been making exceptionally fine instruments for decades and this American made S2 is no exception. If you are after an excellent, do it all electric guitar, then I highly recommend this fantastic example.
